We’d Love to Hear Your Ideas
In the 2019 session, the Iowa legislature passed a law that gave the responsibility for children’s behavioral health (socio-emotional and mental health services) planning and funding to the state’s Mental Health and Disability Services regions. This plan will be phased in over the next two years.
Mental Health and Disability Services of the East Central region is seeking your input about behavioral health services for children in our nine county area. The nine counties of the East Central Region are: Benton, Bremer, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, and Linn.
If you live or work in one of these counties, we’d love to hear your ideas about the services you think are important for children in our area.
Take the brief survey
The survey should take no longer than 3 minutes to complete, and your information will remain confidential.
The survey is open until February 1st and information gathered will be used to create a plan for children’s services that will be implemented beginning July 1, 2020.
Thank you for your time and for caring about children in our area. If you have any questions about the survey or the legislation, please feel free to email Jody Jansen or call (563) 589-7870.
