Colorful Costa Rica: Comparing Biodiversity and Climate Change Effects in Three Different Forests with Tom Davis, Professor of Biology, Loras College We will take walks via photos to examine the flora and fauna of a tropical rain forest, a tropical dry forest and a cloud forest in Costa Rica. We will discuss reasons for differences in biodiversity in each forest and also discuss the effects of climate change on these natural communities in 2019. All are invited.

Becoming an Outdoor Woman Summer Retreat

This overnight experience will introduce you to new skills including hiking, fishing, voyageur canoeing, fire starting, outdoor cooking, yoga, biking and more!
