About the Park
This 140-acre woodland features timbered hillsides that slope downward to a grassy meadow and spring-fed stream stocked with trout. It is located two miles south of Highway 52/3 on Bankston Park Road. The generous open spaces and natural beauty make it a favorite location for primitive campers and picnickers looking for rustic experience. Algific slopes within the park are a sight for nature study. Public hunting is allowed.
