374 New Cases and 18 Deaths in Iowa, 11 More Cases in Dubuque County

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified of 374 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Iowa, including 11 additional cases in Dubuque County.

  • Iowa now has a total of 14,049 positive cases and Dubuque County has 249.
  • 18 additional deaths were reported today for Iowa, bringing the state total to 336. There were no additional deaths reported for Dubuque County today so the county total remains 10.
  • As of May 14, 14 Dubuque County residents were hospitalized due to COVID-19 and 95 have recovered or are recovering. Statewide, 387 Iowans are hospitalized and 6,561 Iowans have recovered.
  • 3,436 Dubuque County residents have been tested, resulting in a 7.2 percent positive rate. Statewide, 93,556 Iowans have been tested for a 15 percent positive rate.
