502 New Cases and 22 Deaths in Iowa Since Friday, 10 More Cases and an Additional Death in Dubuque County
The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified of 502 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Iowa since Friday, including 10 additional cases in Dubuque County. Iowa now has a total of 11,959 positive cases and Dubuque County has 191.
- 22 additional deaths were reported in Iowa since Friday, including one in Dubuque County, bringing the state total to 265 and Dubuque County’s total seven.
- As of May 9, 18 Dubuque County residents were hospitalized due to COVID-19. Statewide, 417 Iowans were hospitalized.
- 5,154 Iowans are recovering or have recovered.
- 2,013 Dubuque County residents have been tested to date, for a 9.5% positive testing rate. Statewide, 74,174 Iowans have been tested for a 16.1% positive testing rate.
