293 New Cases and 12 Deaths in Iowa, Six More Cases in Dubuque County
The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified of 293 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Iowa, including six additional cases in Dubuque County. Iowa now has a total of 10,404 positive cases and Dubuque County has 162.
- 12 additional deaths were reported today for Iowa, bringing the state total to 219.
- As of May 4, 18 Dubuque County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19. Statewide, 407 Iowans are hospitalized
- 29 Dubuque County residents who tested positive are recovering or have recovered. Statewide, 3,803 Iowans are recovering or have recovered.
- 1,697 Dubuque County residents have been tested to date, with 1,535 of those test results being negative for an 9.5% positive testing rate. 63,171 tests have been conducted statewide and 52,767 were negative for a 16.4% positive testing rate.
