739 New Cases and Eight Deaths in Iowa, Seven More Cases in Dubuque County

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified of 739 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Iowa, including seven additional cases in Dubuque County.  Iowa now has a total of 7,885 positive cases and Dubuque County has 109.   

  • Eight additional deaths were reported today for Iowa, bringing the state total to 170.   
  • 15 Dubuque County COVID-19 patients are currently hospitalized. Statewide, 345 Iowans are hospitalized
  • 21 Dubuque County residents who tested positive have recovered.  Statewide, 2,899 Iowans have recovered.
  • 1,240 Dubuque County residents have been tested to date, with 1,131 of those test results being negative for an 8% positive test rate. 45,593 tests have been conducted statewide with a 17% positive test rate. 

The number of positive cases is expected to increase significantly over the as  the high volume of tests taken this week are processed.
