302 New Cases and 14 Deaths in Iowa, Five More Cases and Additional Death in Dubuque County

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified of 302 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Iowa, including five additional cases in Dubuque County.  Iowa now has a total of 7,145 positive cases and Dubuque County has 102.  

Fourteen additional deaths were reported today for Iowa, including an another Dubuque County death, a middle-aged adult.  The death toll for Iowa is now at 162 and Dubuque County is four.  According to IDPH, 335 Iowa COVID-19 cases are currently hospitalized, including 15 in Dubuque County, and 2,697 Iowans are recovering.
 
A total of 42,667 tests have been conducted in Iowa. The number of positive cases will continue to grow as Test Iowa sites open and additional surveillance testing of large businesses and nursing home staff continues.   .
