1,003 New Positive Individuals and 1 Death Since Jan. 12


Free At-Home COVID-19 Tests

Every home in the U.S. is now eligible for free rapid at-home COVID-19 tests. Households can order up to four rapid antigen at-home tests that are completely free, regardless of insurance. Orders can be made at www.covidtests.gov, and will usually ship in 7-12 days.
 
Order your tests now so you have them when you need them. If you need a COVID-19 test now, visit www.dubuquecountyiowa.gov/covidtesting for other local testing options.
 
Insurance companies and health plans are also now required to cover eight free at-home tests (per covered individual) each month. Tests will either be free upon purchase, or you will be reimbursed if you submit the receipt as a claim to your insurer. Contact your insurance provider for more details.

  • 39 County Hospitalizations:  Today, MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center has 21 inpatients with COVID-19 and UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital has 18 for a total of 39 people hospitalized with COVID in Dubuque County.  Please note: This count is NOT limited to Dubuque County residents and may include area residents from outside Dubuque County.
  • Statewide, 991 Iowans are hospitalized with COVID, 68 more than last Wednesday.  64% of those currently hospitalized due to COVID and 72% of those in ICU due to COVID are unvaccinated individuals. Details at https://coronavirus.iowa.gov/pages/hospital-data
