Wednesday, April 28

  • 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Kennedy Mall Community Vaccination Clinic
     Walk-ins and scheduled appointments for Pfizer vaccine administered by the Grand River Medical Group and UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital.
  • 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., Audubon Elementary School, 605 Lincoln Ave.
     Walk-in appointments for Pfizer and Moderna vaccine administered by the Dubuque Fire Department.
  • Hartig Drug (Grandview Ave., Central Ave., and Asbury Square locations)
    Appointments for Pfizer available by visiting https://www.hartigdrug.com/covidvaccine

Thursday, April 29

  • 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Kennedy Mall Community Vaccination Clinic
    Walk-ins and scheduled appointments for Pfizer vaccine administered by the Grand River Medical Group and UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital. Spanish translation services provided on-site.
  • 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., Grand River Center Community Vaccination Clinic, 500 Bell Street
     Drive-through and walk-in appointments for Moderna and Pfizer available vaccine administered by the Dubuque Fire Department.

Friday, April 30

  • 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Kennedy Mall Community Vaccination Clinic
    Scheduled and walk-in appointments for Pfizer available vaccine administered by the Dubuque Visiting Nurses Association and Grand River Medical Group. Spanish and Marshallese translation services provided on-site.

Saturday, May 1

  • 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., Kennedy Mall Community Vaccination Clinic
     Walk-in appointments for Pfizer available vaccine administered by the Grand River Medical Group.

  • All COVID-19 vaccinations are free, safe, and effective.  For vaccine information, visit www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/index.html
  • Anyone age 16 or older is eligible for the Pfizer vaccine and anyone age 18 or older is eligible for the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
  • The CDC and FDA have recommended that use of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen (J&J/Janssen) COVID-19 Vaccine resume in the United States, effective April 23, 2021. However, women younger than 50 years old especially should be aware of the rare risk of blood clots with low platelets after vaccination, and that other COVID-19 vaccines are available where this risk has not been seen.
  • Dubuque County Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is providing free rides to COVID-19 vaccine clinic appointments. RTA services are open to the general public and available to persons of all income levels. All vehicles are wheelchair accessible. Please schedule your free ride as soon as your appointment is confirmed with the vaccine clinic and a minimum of 24 hours in advance. To schedule, call 563-588-4592 or 1-800-839-5005 (toll free) or dial 711 for Relay Iowa. All trip requests are subject to RTA availability.
