New Update Format

You'll notice a new format for the daily updates for Dubuque County starting today.  The goal is to focus on the most relevant statistics for Dubuque County at this stage of the pandemic, including a new section on vaccinations. As vaccine allocations/supplies increase over time, this simpler format will also allow us to highlight additional vaccination opportunities as they become available.  Other than the summary for the state provided above, only Dubuque County data will be presented but state-level data is always available at https://coronavirus.iowa.gov/.  The updates may also be issued slightly later  to reflect the latest vaccination statistics, as the state's vaccination dashboard is updated daily at 12 noon.

'Sleeves Up!' Vaccination CampaignSleeves Up! Dubuque County (JPG)

The Dubuque County Public Health Incident Management Team is launching a "Sleeves Up!" campaign to encourage all Dubuque County residents to get their sleeves up and get vaccinated for COVID-19 when they are eligible and vaccine supplies provide those opportunities.

Getting vaccinated will help keep you, your family, and your community healthy and safe. At 95% efficacy, the vaccine is extraordinarily effective at protecting you from the virus. By getting vaccinated, you can help end the damage to the economy, prevent more illnesses and deaths in America, and eliminate and eradicate COVID-19.

Vaccine supplies are limited at this time but, as supplies increase and more people become eligible to get vaccinated, please get vaccinated. If you would like more information, visit www.dubuquecountyiowa.gov/567/COVID-19-Vaccinations
