Dubuque County: Record-High 202 New Cases, Two Deaths, Record-High Hospitalizations
 Iowa: 4,270 New Cases, 13 Deaths, Record-High Hospitalizations

POSITIVE CASES 

• Dubuque County: 202* new cases. Total confirmed cases to date = 6,782
• Iowa: 4,270 new cases. Total confirmed cases to date = 152,787

DEATHS

• Dubuque County: 2 additional deaths. Total deaths to date = 69
• Iowa: 13 additional deaths. Total deaths to date = 1,842

HOSPITALIZATIONS 

• Dubuque County:  Hospitalized =  58* as of Nov. 6. (15 more than Nov. 3.)
• Iowa: Currently hospitalized = 992* (91 more than yesterday.)

TESTING & POSITIVITY RATE (Calculated by IDPH)

Dubuque County:

• 351 more individuals tested. Total residents tested to date = 38,820
• Test Positivity Rate: 14-day average = 22.6%*, average to date = 17.5%.

Iowa:

• 9,287 more individuals tested. Total Iowa residents tested to date = 1,031,428
• Test Positivity Rate: 14-day average = 19.4%, average to date = 14.8%

RECOVERIES 

• Dubuque County: New recoveries = 19. Total number of recoveries = 4,189
• Iowa: New recoveries = 369. Total number of recoveries = 100,716

LONG-TERM CARE FACILITY OUTBREAKS 

• Dubuque County: 5 long-term care facility outbreaks (same as yesterday) with 140 positive cases (same as yesterday) and 60 recoveries (same as yesterday):
  - Luther Manor Communities, Dubuque (68 positive cases, 11 recoveries)
  - ManorCare Health Services, Dubuque (10 positive cases, 1 recovery)
  - MercyOne Dyersville Senior Care, Dyersville (35 positive cases, 29 recoveries)
  - Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade (7 positive cases, 2 recoveries)
  - Sunnycrest Manor, Dubuque (20 positive cases, 17 recoveries)
• Iowa: 92* outbreaks (same as yesterday) with 2,847 positive cases, 1,196 recoveries, and 890 deaths to date.
