58 New Cases and One Death in Dubuque County, 726 New Cases and Six Deaths in Iowa

Positive Cases
Between 2 p.m. yesterday and 2 p.m. today, the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 58 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Dubuque County, increasing the county total to 931. For the state, 726 additional cases were reported in that same time frame giving Iowa a total of 34,562 positive cases.

Deaths
One additional deaths was reported in Dubuque County increasing the county total to 23. Six additional deaths were reported statewide, increasing the state death total to 748.

Testing
As of 2 p.m. today, the IDPH website reported that 14,767 Dubuque County residents have been tested, up 272 from yesterday, with an overall positive test rate of 6.3 percent. 368,584 Iowans have been tested, an increase of 7,072 since yesterday, for a positive test rate of 9.4 percent. One in seven Dubuque County residents have been tested and one in nine Iowa residents have been tested.

Hospitalizations & Recoveries
As of today, 178 Iowans were hospitalized due to COVID-19, nine more than yesterday. The number of Dubuque County residents reported hospitalized is four, the same as reported yesterday.

Statewide, 26,104 Iowans have recovered (271 more than reported yesterday), including 428 Dubuque County residents (six more than yesterday).

 Long-Term Care Facility Outbreaks
According to the IDPH, as of 2 p.m. today there are 16 long-term care facilities in Iowa with COVID-19 outbreaks, one more than yesterday. There are no long-term care facility outbreaks in Dubuque County
