37 New Cases in Dubuque County, 323 New Cases and Two Additional Deaths in Iowa

Positive Cases
Between 2 p.m. yesterday and 2 p.m. today, the IDPH reported 37 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Dubuque County, increasing the county total to 454. This large 24-hour increase is a single-day record high for the county and can be contributed, in part, to two issues: 24 new cases were identified through targeted testing at the Dubuque County Jail and there was a delay in test processing notifications at the State Hygienic Laboratory last weekend.

For the state, 323 additional cases were reported in that same time frame giving Iowa a total of 26,374 positive cases.
